FLUX FY-CB
Experience two 30-minute stages with impactful poses from flow yoga and cardio barre. Stay for 1 or both stages for a revitalizing workout!
FLUX FY-CB is a two-stage hybrid class: 30 minutes of flow yoga, then 30 minutes of cardio barre, at 92°F and 50% humidity. Stay for one stage or both, whichever the day allows.
FLUX exists because most people want more than one thing from a workout and rarely have time for two classes. Each stage is a real, self-contained block of its parent format rather than a watered-down sample. This pairing runs yoga first and barre second, which is the useful order: the breath-linked movement of Glow, our flow yoga class, opens the hips and shoulders and gets your breathing organised, and then the ballet-derived positions of Particle, our cardio barre class, put that new range under repetition and tempo. Mobility first, then the work that uses it.
What Does FY-CB Mean?
The letters are the stages, in order. FY is Flow Yoga (Glow). CB is Cardio Barre (Particle). Every FLUX class is named this way, so once you learn the codes you can read any of them off the schedule.
Can I Stay for Just One Stage?
Yes, and that is the point of the format rather than a concession. You are welcome to enter and exit between stages. Take the yoga half on a recovery day, the barre half when you want to sweat, or stay for the full hour. Leaving at the halfway mark is normal here.
Who FLUX FY-CB Is For
- People who want to move and then work. Flow into sculpting is one of the more natural pairings on the schedule.
- Newer members sampling formats. Two of the most approachable classes we run, in one visit, at a moderate 92°F.
- The time-crunched. One stage is a complete 30-minute workout. You decide at the door.
- Yoga practitioners who never do strength work. The barre stage is a gentle way in, no weights heavier than a few pounds.
What to Expect
Moisture-wicking clothes and water. Mat, towel, and any equipment are provided. The stages contrast sharply: continuous breath-led movement, then small repeated movements to a beat. At 92°F you will sweat through both without either being punishing.
How Often
One or two a week alongside your usual routine. FLUX works well as the variety day that keeps a narrow schedule from getting narrower.
Where to Practice
FLUX offerings rotate by studio and by day, so check the schedule for where and when this one runs.
