FLUX TBB-HY
Experience two 30-minute stages with impactful poses from hot yoga and total body barre. Stay for 1 or both stages for a revitalizing workout!
FLUX TBB-HY is a two-stage hybrid class: 30 minutes of hot yoga and 30 minutes of total body barre. The hot yoga stage runs at 98.6°F and the barre stage at 85°F. Stay for one stage or both.
This pairing puts the two most different things we do next to each other. Hot yoga on the Atom sequence is static: you hold a posture, work it, and let a recovery breath reset you before the next. Total body barre, our Spark class, is the opposite discipline, high repetitions under light load with the burn coming from volume rather than from any single effort. Stretch and hold, then repeat and sculpt. Members who find one of those formats easy usually find the other humbling, which is a good argument for taking both.
What Does TBB-HY Mean?
The letters are the stages. TBB is Total Body Barre (Spark). HY is Hot Yoga (Atom). Every FLUX class is named this way, so once you learn the codes you can read any of them off the schedule.
Can I Stay for Just One Stage?
Yes, and that is the point of the format rather than a concession. You are welcome to enter and exit between stages. Half an hour of either is a complete workout, and the two are different enough that taking just one is a real choice rather than a compromise.
Who FLUX TBB-HY Is For
- People who want stretch and sculpt in one visit. Flexibility work and muscular endurance rarely live in the same class.
- Hot yoga regulars who avoid weights. The barre stage uses light hand weights and bands, which is the least intimidating strength work we offer.
- Barre regulars who never stretch. Thirty minutes in the hot room is the counterweight your high-repetition work has been missing.
- Anyone whose training has gone one-note. Two disciplines, one hour, no extra scheduling.
What to Expect
Moisture-wicking clothes and water. Mat, towel, and the weights and bands are provided. The two stages ask for different things: stillness and depth first, then relentless small movement. Choose lighter weights than you think you need for the barre stage, especially with a hot yoga stage already behind you.
How Often
One or two a week alongside your regular routine. FLUX is a variety day rather than the backbone of a week.
Where to Practice
FLUX offerings rotate by studio and by day, so check the schedule for where and when this one runs.
