FLUX MO-HY
Experience two 30-minute stages with impactful poses from molecule and hot yoga. Stay for 1 or both stages for a revitalizing workout!
FLUX MO-HY is a two-stage hybrid class: 30 minutes of Molecule, our yoga core class, then 30 minutes of hot yoga. The Molecule stage runs at 85°F and the hot yoga stage at 98.6°F, both at 60% humidity. Stay for one stage or both.
Both stages speak yoga, which makes this the most continuous of the two-stage FLUX classes. Molecule takes accessible yoga postures and loads them with resistance, training the whole chain from hips to shoulders. Then the hot yoga stage runs the Atom sequence unloaded in a hotter room. The shapes rhyme across both halves; what changes is the demand. You spend the first thirty minutes making the postures hard on purpose and the second thirty finding out how much deeper they go once the muscles are worked and the room is properly hot.
What Does MO-HY Mean?
The letters are the stages, in order. MO is Molecule, our yoga core class. HY is Hot Yoga (Atom). Every FLUX class is named this way, so once you learn the codes you can read any of them off the schedule.
Can I Stay for Just One Stage?
Yes, and that is the point of the format rather than a concession. You are welcome to enter and exit between stages. Take the Molecule half for a focused strength session, the hot yoga half for the stretch and the heat, or stay for the whole hour.
Who FLUX MO-HY Is For
- Yoga practitioners who want to get stronger. Loaded postures then unloaded ones, in the same vocabulary.
- Anyone whose core is the weak link. Thirty focused minutes on the middle, then a stretch that rewards it.
- People easing toward the hot room. The first stage at 85°F is a gentle way to arrive before the heat comes up.
- Members short on time. Strength and stretch inside one hour, and either half stands alone.
What to Expect
Moisture-wicking clothes and water. Mat, towel, and the resistance equipment are provided. The two stages feel different in effort more than in movement: deliberate and loaded, then still and hot. Expect the next-day awareness through your midsection and shoulders if the Molecule stage is new to you.
How Often
One or two a week, with a day between when loaded work is new. It sits naturally alongside a pure flow day or a restorative Aura.
Where to Practice
FLUX offerings rotate by studio and by day, so check the schedule for where and when this one runs.
